jim this car doesent even come close to the P4/5. the p4/5 is epic the 4 fwatevez is exactly that ...Fwatevez
Finally something aggressive and beautiful, the 360 was good but soft looking, the F430 was much better looking than the 360, but this one it's perfect (at least from what I'm looking at). Scuderia and even the spyder is old news, next to this the Scuderia looks two decades old.
Everything about this car feels modern. I love it. And that craaaazy interior. Totally pushing the boundaries, nuts, and utterly bonkers. Love it to death.
I agree completely. I love the performance figures. 9000 rpm. Interesting, I don't see why we can't get up to the 12,000 rpm figure. (gas consumption, engine wear and tear??? maybe someone has an answer) I think we would ALL like (love) higher RPM. Front of the car will take some time. Michael Brown PS To be honest, at first I didn't like the 360. I am slowly beginning the search process for one now.

Really? That could be easily one of the worst looking cars of the last few years. Even a Gumpert looks somewhat pretty next to ´that´.
these are photoshops thatswhy they are looking bad ..i am talking about the desgin flow only ...just look at its back end ..isnt that pretty .... personally i m not a fan of single tail lights..i know its in ferrari's history but is it good to repeat that mistakes that they had done in past ...:S Image Unavailable, Please Login
I LOVE the body. A+++ design. But who the hell designed the dash?.. Picasso? (And I don't use "Picasso" as a compliment.) Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
For me it is way to soon to judge the design by those photos that Ferrari released yesterday but the first impression is positive. Well, things could only get better after the Cali desaster. For those guys who are already in the waiting line it is understandable to speak of an instant classic. After all those disappointing cars like 612, Cali, 430, 355 and 360 (in terms of design) it took quite cojones to order a Ferrari way before you know the design. To all the others, we have time to wait until we see the car in the metal and let the design work on us.
opus - dial it back. Your veiled use of derogatory terms and aggressively insulting style are better suited for anywhere else but here. Take a couple days off, go find some other site to sling crap. Come back with a nice new fresh attitude, one that leaves your anger and prejudices behind. DM
Thanks for posting that for me. I finished doing the other 2 angles also. You can post the photos if you like. http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y20/Exotic118-2/Ferrari/Ferrari%20458%20Italia/458_Italia_01.jpg http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y20/Exotic118-2/Ferrari/Ferrari%20458%20Italia/458_Italia_02.jpg
As I said, I love the exterior design. The interior, however, leaves me a bit confused. I'm not sure I like it...
I think the movie was modern Problems where Chevy snorts up a long line of sand and then says I LIKE IT! that's how I feel about this car.
are you serious? Most of the designs you posted scream japanese design, not italian. No flow? Blind? I'm really happy Ferrari stepped away from the two nostrils in the front and went to a open design. Much better.

Great comparison. It took some time before people started understanding Picasso's work. Same may apply to the dash of the 458. I'll wait with my final judgement until I have seen the complete interior of the 458. I think it will blend in well with the rest of the interior. It also forms a nice contrast with the flawing lines of the exterior and it looks very futuristic. From a driver's perspective (as in the picture) I like it. Still waiting till I've seen the car in the flesh to have a final judgement on it.
Poor comparison; Picasso's works were not symmetrical, this dash is. I love it! It's more interesting that the 430's and much more so than the 360's.
