After 2.5 years which included: 1) Engine rebuild - top and bottom incl high comp pistons, gearbox rebuild incl all synchros 2) Full engine bay and front end refit 3) Full original interior leather colour strip/ re-colour and recondition 4) Suspension rebuild, including QA's all round + Verell's conversion kit 5) Brake rebuild 6) Non original steering wheel as - my legs are way tooooooo long 7) New stereo and hidden rear speakers 8) Full paintwork recondition 9) New 16 inch spilt rim compomotives with Pirelli P6000's all round I drove the car for the first time today........I had forgotten how good that sound was at 3000 - 4000 rpm. Keeping it below 4000 for the first 1000 miles is going to require much discipline!!! Off to Italy on holidays now for 2 weeks today..... pity I can't take it with me....
