A few weeks ago I ended up buying serial number 23077, a 400 automatic that is in Mexico.

I am now working on sorting it out mechanically before I star with cosmetics. Engine, transmission, brakes, suspension, etc are all good and working well now.

But I'm suffering with the small electrical stuff like switches, lights, and so on. I'd appreciate some help.

    Mirrors and antenna:
    1. I'm assuming both outside mirrors are controlled remotely via an electrical lever. Both my mirrors can be moved up and down from the base (though left mirror pops out); the glass is clearly not fixed in place, but are hard to move by hand, so I'm assuming both have a motor behind the glass. The owners manual only lists one lever (#62) in the center console to move the outside mirror (no reference to left or right), and should be located at the very bottom of the console behind the ashtray in the central position. My car has a toggle switch there (with an incorrect nut) that does nothing.
    2. Higher up the console to the outmost left of the shift lever, where the radio antenna switch (#55 in the owners manual) there is a lever that looks like it could be for a mirror (though it only moves up or down), and also does nothing. The pictures I've seen show the antenna switch to be similar (or exactly like) the other black toggle switches. Could it be that they switched around?
    3. If both mirrors are electrically controlled, there should be a second lever to control the other mirror. My car has a lever located on the left side of the dash, to the left and below the speedometer. This one feels like a mirror switch with 4 way action, so I'm assuming this one is for the left mirror, but it also does nothing. I haven't seen one in any pictures and looks different. Any thoughts?

      See pictures below please.
Thanks a lot for your help, more will certainly be requires soon.

The antenma button is not correct. Not sure if the mirror button is correct. The mirrors do not look stock so maybe they are not properly wired. The "normal" mirrors joystick can be pushed down in order to activate the second mirror: took me years to figure it out...
