My car was delivered on a snowy morning in February. The dealer promised to overnight the title, but apparently "overnight" means "6 weeks" in the Ferrari world…and seeing the car in my garage everyday and not being able to drive it, made the 6 weeks seem like 6 months!!

Anyway, the title is now here, the car is registered, and I am behind the wheel. All is well.

    Here are some pictures:
    1. My first drive was 2 miles in light falling snow from the unloading location to my house. And yes, I tried Race mode – the car is great in the snow!

    2. The car – a red/tan 2007 430 F1 with lots of goodies – carbon ceramic brakes, carbon dash, carbon steering, etc, power Daytonas, challenge wheels with titanium bolts, and 1.5 years remaining on the warranty

    3. With some of its stable-mates

And of course, thank you to everybody on FChat for all the research and advice available here. And another thank you to FCA New England for letting me tag along with my Maserati all these years!

Everyone – thank you for all the good wishes

Gene – thank you for your help, and hope to see you at one of the events this year

It sure felt great to drive the car - I almost went mad during the 6 weeks she was sadly waiting in the garage!

    I love those challenge wheels!

I know the feelings of the first few drives as well. My 07 spider got delivered at 3 am this past Saturday just in time for a beautiful weekend.
