After a long search, I finally got my dream Ferrari! I ended up with Rosso 360 Spider with 6 speed manual, and I LOVE IT!!! Here is a photo. When the weather is better, I will post more shots. Thank you everyone for your advice and input. Made my search so much easier, and felt more confident about the purchase. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Congrats on your 'find' with 3 pedals no less! I to like those modular wheels and the red calipers look great as well... CH
Congratulations!!!! 70 and clear in Texas!!!!! Just got out of my rosso corsa 430!!! Go drive it!!!!!!!
Congrats on a real beauty! But then again, I have the twin of your car in my garage so I may be a bit biased. Red/tan, 3 pedals, modulars, challenge grill, tubi = perfection in a 360 spider Enjoy the car in good health
BTW, which car did you end up getting and from where? Last we heard you were going for an F1 car, but I see this has a 6 spd manual. Also, please post something about your dealer or seller experience so we get another data point.
congrats! i'm hoping to get her twin in F1 in the next few months hopefully! beautiful car and love the wheels! cheers
Thanks guys! I'm uploading few more photos here. I ended up getting mine from the Silicon Valley Ferrari in Redwood City/Atherton. Sales guy was Jason, and he was very professional. So the options on my car includes Front Challenge Grill; Rear Challenge Grid; Red calipers; Modular wheels; hi-fi stereo w/ rear subwoofer; Daytona power seats; Tubi-exhaust; clear bra; front skid pad; and it's 6 speed manual. I was going back and forth between F1 and manual, but at the end, it really didn't matter much; having a clean car meant more. This one has 10,200 miles, and is in excellent shape w/ no scratch or chips. Interior is in great condition also. Potential less maintenance issue w/ a manual transmission w/ possibly clutch lasting longer did play a role in getting a manual. I was driving with a top down for the first time this afternoon, and noticed a very high pitch whirling noise each time I put it back to neutral; it lasts less than 10 seconds before going away, but is happening every time I put it back in neutral. I can reproduce it by blipping an accelerator to rpm around 3000 or so also; again it lasts for less than 10 seconds before going away. Is that normal? I'll be taking it in to the Silicon Valley Ferrari tomorrow, but I thought I ask you guys. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
