$11,683.00....I must say it feels like a different car. I am sure it is probabally all mental but the wheel spacers I got put on sure seem to make it more stable and just feels solid all around. Let alone it looks so FAT and low from the back. I am soooooooooo happy I have the car back at least. I feel like a kid on Christmas morning again. What a car! True I am now broke but I have a fine Ferrari. hehehehaha

Now I get to look forward to a possible legal fight to try to recoup about $9,500 of it.

Bottom line I am ready to drive. Any drives, get togethers planned please let me know???

Thank you to everyone for your support, advise, knowledge and condolences once again!!!

Mike, didn't you say earlier that the selling dealer had agreed in advance to make good on the items that should have been covered during the engine-out service? Are they trying to go backwards on an agreement?

Just antincipating getting screwed. Wouldn't want to buck the trend or my luck..
After the list of things wrong with the first service, bent suspension pieces from not taking the motor out properly, wrong cam seals, wrong silicon, oil gauge not working, bad O2 sensor, I could keep going, there was no way they were going to re-do their sh$#@ job .
The car was already underway at Tonkin anyway. I called once I knew I had issues with their service and they said they had a 1 year labor and three year parts warrenty. I then told Tonkin to start. Right after that is when they said ship them the car and they would fix. They now come back and said they will pay but at their costs not what Tonkin charged me. So, I anticiapte them fighting. I will find out where they stand tomorrow when I fax them the work order from Tonkin stating how everything was done wrong.

Mike--what are you doing tomorrow? The forcast for this weekend looks potentially grim, but la manana is supposed to be nice. I'm off, and my car needs a workout.

Mike: What kind of oil temperature readings are you seeing now that your gauge/sending unit has been repaired? Just curious. Everything look normal?

Everything is perfect. Oil gauge ranges from, at operating, 150-170ish I'd say.
Those boys down here at Tonkin, Gran Turismo sure know there craft. Got her running perfectly. It is truely a joy to know the car is solid and reliable.
