    Huge thanks to everyone here, and especially to Brian Crall, for all your help with my first Ferrari. It's a 1988 328 GTS, SN# 75407. I can't stop smiling and I guarantee you that as soon as I hit "Submit New Thread," I'm headed back out for another spin through the hill country of Palo Alto, CA.

    I promise more pics will follow when I can take some with my regular camera as opposed to my cell phone.

    Man, this is fun!

    For maximum enjoyment, the stereo should be in the off position when the engine is running:)

    Congrat's!! 24 1/2 years later, I still look for another excuse to take'm for a spin. Alice's Restaurant is a great local to buzz to. All roads leading there are fun. 280 has gone crazy with the RADAR / LASER cops.

    LOL!! I have mine wired so the stereo can only come ON when the car is OFF!!!

    Ok... not really true. But I very rarely run the radio... can't hear it anyway over
    the orchestra behind me :D

    Just remember, a real black and tan uses Harp and not Bass.

    Too funny. Right after I posted this I blasted up Page Mill Road, across Skyline and then went right down to Alice's Restaurant! I was giggling like a child the whole time. At Portola/La Honda (for those who know the area), I was actually the first one on the scene of a bad accident. Of course I stayed until the cops came, but then I had to leave. As if the accident wasn't enough of a distraction, my Ferrari (I just love saying that) parked at the scene was causing quite a traffic back up.

    As for the stereo, someone who owned it 16 years ago put in this huge and ugly Alpine system behind the seats. Now I can't store the top back there. Anyone have a suggestion in the Bay Area for someone who can get rid of it and maybe put in a iPod hook up?
