Hi All, Just wanted to introduce myself. I finally took the plunge and moved up to a 575M F1 - I just took delivery of the car last week and am waiting for a few thing to be corrected by the dealer. I can't wait to get it out on the road. I actually finished one of my garages just for this car BTW, anyone have a line on a set of original 575M 19" Modular wheels? I'm looking forward to participating in this community. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Are your modulars aftermarket copies? If you're looking for the original wheels, I might be interested in the ones now on the car.
They are 3pc Speedline wheels. I'd just like to have original 575M 19" Modulars. I'll let you know if I consider selling them.
Congrats on the car. Hoping to get my first V12 Ferrari the end of this year if all goes well...only a humble 400i though. 456 in a few years if things go well in the intervening time. LOVE the lighting in your garage! That is GREAT! I need to do something like that... Very cool! Best, James M. Austin, TX
Thanks! I designed it myself. I did the floors and the cabinets and the diamond plate peg board above the workbench. Had contractor finish the walls, paint and install the lighting. I also switched to a side-drive garage door and have it running up about 6 inches from the 12 foot ceiling. If you're going to do halogen track lighting, I highly recommend WAC lighting products. Have fun!
Nice car, color and nice garage. What kind of rims do you have on the car? What about the name Friuli?
Congrats, love the car. Very funny about the Ferrari Store bags on top of those most excellent cabinets, I also cant bring myself to throw anything that says Ferrari on it away, bags, boxes for parts, tickets to the museum (I throw everything else away), magazines, etc. If it says Ferrari on it I keep it. Again congrats on the car! Andrew
The rims are Speedline Friuli is the provence of Northern Italy where my family is from. It is the Dolomite region. It is about 2.5 hours from Maranello
The reason I have asked is because I come from the nearby Trieste, in the Venezia Giulia province. Nice meeting you on these pages.
Hi! I also just joined last week with an TDF Blue/ Full Tan interior 05 GTC 6 spd manual w/2800 miles (now 3200) and I love my new mistress. And then it snowed so I am grounded for a couple of days. I opted to keep my other ferrari as well; 89 Mondial t Cab Blk/Red int 348 for those days when my daughter insists on riding with us. I will post some pics of the car I won't post pics of my garage or you might throw rocks at it, but you have inspired me to do something similar. I promise to post before and after pics whenever I get to that project. no.32. Congrats and hope you have fun. Don't hurt it. Zac
Oh God!...Zac you are my new hero.... That car spec has been my Excalibur, my Unicorn, my Holy Grail. For the love of jake, post pics ASAP How long I have searched for her... 575...in TdF with All Tan....with GTC....and a 6-speed.....SHE DOES EXIST AFTER ALL....(harps and string section come in here) There is hope for me....I MUST....go.....on....(Shatner impression here)......I....can't....stop....before...I...find...her..... ketel
LOL!!! Yeah I did get it caught in the steering wheel once in while. The car is a U.S. spec car that was imported from Dubai. And no, I haven't slept in it ........yet. It's in getting detailed; should be out tomorrow and I will post some pics. You're gonna love the brake and rotor shots, I don't even know how they got all that stuff to clear the wheels. zac
Zac, love that combination. Please do post pics and give us some driving impressions, if possible. Best.
