Hey guys: For those of you in Dallas and the surrounding areas, I just wanted to let you know I am finally making my move to Dallas. I just got hired working for the City of Dallas at City Hall (Water Department). Yep, I'm pushing papers, but I'm finally glad to be half way here. Anyway, I got to check out Ferrari of Dallas (never visited there) and see that Park Place Motors has on their lot. Ciao cd allen
Welcome and congrats on the new job. Pushing papers isn't a terrible gig...just think, you could have a field position in the sanitation management dept instead.
Congrats man. Look forward to seeing you when you get here. Feel free to stop by. I'll give ya a tour Talk to you later. Joshua
^Thanks J, I look forward to that. Spent today in downtown and Turtle Creek on business and pleasure. I always visiting Turtle Creek, due to my fanscination with Porsche and MB SL models (which are always abundant in that area...lol). By the way, how many of you on here are from Dallas?
Welcome to Dallas. Men, time flies. It's been 16 years since I moved here,,, There're quite few people, and we do gatherings every month. Watch this thread closely for information. Turtle Creek is a nice area to live. Hope you'll have fun.
SR, I did something similar (read: worse). I worked two summers for the sewer dept during college. The money was great... $2.25/hour. Definately a good motivator to finish college. Some very interesting individuals work for the sewer & water department (field people, that is). Congrats on the new job, cd allen. Welcome to Big D.
