True. Some cars require / demand your attention and most owners aren't willing to give it. SF90 builds confidence in a way that can be very dangerous especially regarding tire temps.
Mine came in a Peugeot 205XS which I bought during my first job working for Peugeot. It was an absolutely brilliant car. I couldn’t afford the GTI but had I known, I would have kept the XS, which was actually a better car. They all ‘suffered’ from lift-off-oversteer, despite being front driven. I remember exactly where I was when it happened and it frightened the life out of me! I managed to gather it though and on I went. Funny thing is that I had as much fun in that car at age 19 as I do now in much more exotic stuff in my 50’s. Not saying I want to go back - you can’t. But the start of a journey is no less exciting than midway.
Joining the SF90 Spider AF Bianco Cervino club. My finally made it home. Drove really nice up the driveway - need to drive it this weekend! Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Looking forward to reading seat tine impressions - Drove 812GTS today and while I love it ... no comparison to SF and crazy these cars were being built at the same time. The battery experience in silent - total blast / fast and seamless. Then drove Senna to get a comparison - brutally aggressive but still much like SF.
I took the SF90 Spider to dinner last night. More of a show off experience than a Drive. Valet parking in front on a busy street. Three quick takeaways. My, my is it sneaky fast compared to my Pista. Second, I agree the electric is seamless and giggles to drive it silently. Third giving it “just a bit” of throttle resulted in my wife stating (to paraphrase without the 4 letter words)….. don’t you ever do that again I felt my brain move inside my head! I believe if I take my wife for a real ride I will have a experience like former F1 driver Riccardo Patrese had with his wife! If you haven’t seen that video it is a must watch.
Well done and yes he takes things to an all new level. If you can't scare your wife you shouldn't own a 1000hp Ferrari!
SF90 is the best and most complete total package car money can buy right now it's the car equivalent of the Swiss Army knife on steroids, in a single car garage that would be it for me, in a multiple car garage sky is the limit I guess LOL
