    This looks promising! I've been waiting for years for a decent 288 GTO model in 1/18th scale. The Bburago/Hot Wheels version looks terrible. As it is BBR the price will be hefty but this is one model I could make an exception for.

    Apparently BBR secretly added in the 288 without notice…. It wasn’t in their 2015-2016 catalog…. The 288 is one of my all-time favorites but I’m not sure if I’m going to pre-order just yet. I’m still waiting on a few others pre-orders they haven’t released yet.

    Yeah, I thought that was interesting, too - it just kind of popped up.

    If you don't mind my asking, which pre-orders are you still waiting on? I've bought a couple this year and both were pretty slow...

    Hopefully it does get released despite all the licensing stuff. I have the Hot Wheels Elite one from a few years ago. This looks better, but I don't need another.

    Sure thing... I'm still waiting on the 1:18 208 turbo and the 126c2 without the cases. Than I recently added to my pre-orders both f15's F1 cars which probably won't be available until the end of the year, I hope.

    I put my pre-order in on the first day which means with my BBR order history I should have it in about 8 months or so.

    Eagerly Awaiting to get this piece in my collection as well. My favourite car of all time. i have every version made in 1:18 scale but this by far is the best looking. Its wierd how ebay sellers sold some never mentioning it was a pre order item. Does anyone here physically have one yet?
