Finally sorted out CS creaking!

Sold my CS for EXACTLY the same reason so it must be common.

CS + main dealer = major grief!

I got sick to death of the whole thing...

 

No not really, the car was amazing except for this problem. The primary reason was that I had owned the car for 18 months+ and generally like something new every 8-12 months.

If you have this problem then get the dealer to fit the 430 bolts. This will solve albeit temporarily. It took them a year to figure this out.

 

its going in for the work next week - i hardly use the car and have only just got it! amazing motor and loving it to bits when i get the chance to open her up!

will see what they say once they inspect (im armed with loads of info regarding this problem thanks to the internet)

The CS is making a "Clong" noise in the front , driver side . Cant find the source , but everytime there's a bump on the road , we can hear it .

Cant know if its from the interior or the front suspension/sway bar ..

 

most service guys won't care on the info you give even though they should know about the issues but they don't really care about the product they are servicing . to them it's just a job

 

sorry to bring this up again but my car after

1. having bolts lubed
2. having complete new front sus joints

is now back creaking after going out in it last night - hmmmm whats next now? anti roll bars?

 

seems like all stradales have this front suspension problem. normal 360s too. have heard that hills engineering have a better part than factory part.

 

Really, besides an annoying noise, is there anything to worry about???

Just get straight pipes and an NGT exhaust - hearing anything else becomes much more difficult!!!

bottom line is a £140k car should be perfect
