I'm looking into buying large amounts of paint for art projects in the future. I'd like to get in the neighborhood of 20 - 40 Liters, of various different colours. Everything from white and black, to blue, red, pink and green.

I've checked building supply stores, with some luck, but not enough choice really. And I've yet to go to paint recycling shop, but again, I'm not sure they will have that choice.

My best bet at this point is to use an air miles card to get 40% off at Cloverdale paint; high quality, lower price.

My question is, where would be a good place to buy this, given I want high quality paint at a reasonable price? Anyone have secrets to buying paint?

My town gives away free latex paint in 5 gallon drums in a variety of colors. Might check with your locality to see if they have a similar program. Of course, this would probably only help you out with white, beige, some blues, and a few other colors.
