    Ive done the best I can to determine the build date for my car, #18977, but can't seem to locate it. Anybody know where to look or what it was? thank you Steve

    308GTB.de says 1976 - for more information you probably need to register your car at myferrari and see what information eventually populates

    Believe that data plate was only put on North American cars, and perhaps others outside the European market. My early Euro vetro GTB also does not have that data plate.

    I don't have the data plate either, 76 euro. I just looked in the warranty card, service book and its not listed there either. All that is indicated is the sale date and the warranty expiration date.
