I just installed a Hill Engineering dead pedal in my F430 after re-gluing the rubber oem dead pedal pad for the third time. The machined aluminum dead pedal is lovely, fits beautifully, and hasn't fallen off yet. It's mounted with six M5X12 "taptite" countersunk screws. They're Phillips head and cadmium plated, and didn't seem to match the hex socket screws used in the passenger well battery cover. I found some stainless hex socket flat-head countersunk screws on Amazon at:

Amazon.com: uxcell® M5x12mm Hex Socket Flat Head Stainless Steel Countersunk Bolts 50Pcs: Home Improvement

They were less than ten USD for fifty--- enough to treat eight cars, with two left over (screws, not cars). They look great and seem more in keeping with the rest of the cockpit hardware.

Thanks! Will order those and remove the Phillips head screws.
