    Translation:

[Photo caption] Kimi Räikkönen hopes for a podium finish at the Belgian GP next weekend.

Räikkönen admits that it will be difficult for Ferrari to keep its third spot at Constructors WC standings. That is the team goal this season but the fourth place McLaren trails only by five points.

One of Ferrari’s problems is that Räikkönen will get no help from Luca Badoer. The truly pathetic driver will most likely race again for the backmarkers title while both McLaren drivers Heikki Kovalainen and Lewis Hamilton will drive for important points.

Räikkönen also reminds that Ferrari has stopped developing this season’s car and is fully concentrating on the development of next season’s car.

    Comment:

This is the first time I've seen such a negative and even bitter accounting of the Kimi/Ferrari saga in Finland. Looks like if there ever was any love affair to speak of, it is certainly over now. I want to emphasize that I'm referring to the media here, NOT Kimi himself or his troops. Although I can just surmise that the Finns are smarting up and patterning themselves after the Italian and Spanish media where PMS is status quo.

I still think Kimi could actually win at Spa...

To me it sounds more like a bid for one final update. For the rest he's just being realistic.

I've got a feeling he will pull out all stops for the next race. He really wants to prove it to himself he's still got it. His statements sound like a bit of sandbagging.

He (Kimi) just said that they were not doing any further development on the F60.

If Ferrari wants to let the fans know that they are not making any more improvements to the car then that is fine with me. Kimi needs to drive as best he can and hold off on the whining. I am sure the car has it's problems but it also has positives. Work with what you got and drive.

I actually hope the Kimster take this one. Spa is definitely his fav. tracks. For some reason, i hope the rain will come and mix and match stuff.

Got a feeling he could win at Spa as well actually. Kimi in the past has dominated Spa, he basically owns the circuit. I'd love to see him push hard and get a win at what is the best track on the calender. If he's going to do it at all it will be there.

Kimi is finished as a racer. Hasnt been doing his best for some time. As much as I dont like Alonso....the sooner he takes Kimis place the better. At least Alonso tries to win. Kim has never really been that good. Fast at times but thats it.

You never know at Spa... This is a track that will favor the KERS cars. It has huge straights and that power button is going to make a noticeable difference. If the weather turns wet, then it's anyone's race. A McL or Ferrari success here would not surprise me.
