I was looking at lap times at Fiorano, and near the bottom it said "Porsche 959, 1:37.00"

    This was on wikipedia.

Is it just an article error or what?

Its an interesting story back in 1987 when CAR UK went to drive the F40, they took a 959 with them and Ferrari allowed them to put thr 959 around Fiorano for comparison as to how the cars felt and performed on the track, I think this was the first and last time this happened!

Actually I have a copy of an article by German magazine Sport Auto from June 1988 with a comparison between an F40 and a white 959 at Fiorano. The cars were driven bij Gerhard Berger and Walter Brun. There's no mention of lap times though.

You might be right but am sure CAR UK also did a comparison at Fiorano...
