Well, I think I am officially on the list for a 430, delivery date still unknown. But, wanting to have my ducks in a row... I have always really like Fiorano Red as an exterior color, but have always thought pairing an interior was a bit of a challenge. So given the options, what would people choose? Considerations include main leather color, contrasting leather color, piping (yes/no and color) and stitching (deviating color).
Take a look at the pics in this thread... http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=49743 I think that is an amazing color scheme... and I believe the piping is the same color as the exterior... Hope that helps.
Scotty, I have been thinking about this color too and am leaning to the natural color in combination. Check out Frees car to see how it looks.
I'm not a fan of red for modern Ferraris but, if you must, I would suggest a black interior with red Daytona inserts and possibly some red accents in the doors and/or dash and/or steering wheel. Less is more and all that... Red stitching. No piping (looks hideous IMO). And no shields. Are you sure you don't want a black/cuoio 430?
Scotty, I am up early for a 430 as well. I was all set to get Fiorano red and mentioned that to my local dealer. He looked it up and found it is not offered on 430's. Barchetta red is back. You can still get it as an "out of range" color for 2686. and a good possiblity of a delivery delay. For the record, I have seen it in combo with natural and like it a lot. Sorry to break the bad news. I was bummed when I found out. Dave
I'd go for a cream or sabbia interior in combination with a dark red upper dash and dark red piping. Extravagant yes, but still tastefull I think. It wil at least give your F430 a really individual touch. Love that Rosso Fiorano too, btw! Too bad German Ferrari owners are so dull when it comes to colour choices: I'd say 80% is red with a full-black interior :-(
The basic color is still offered, but they have utilized a new process that allows a higher percentage of metal flake. I think the new color is rubino micalazzato or something close to that. John
I have a Rosso Fiorano Spider. The interior is dark tan with red stitching thru-out. Being a spider it also has a tan colored top. The color combo flows and I am very very happy with it! Cuoio is a great color, it is far more practical than tan/beige. I think cuoio is different than tan/beige and is different than natural, natural sucks, cuoio rules!
Scotty, The pictures F Addict listed are of the fiorino with sabbia interior. Sabbia is a lighter interior but requires attention to dirt! The piping in the mentioned photos is the same as the exterior color. It's an absolutely stunning combination. The cuoio tan interior does not look as striking with the fiorino exterior. I saw in San Diego the car that is pictured in the photos and almost bought it before the gentleman in Colorado bought it. I am sourcing metallic green ext with cuoio or pozzi blue with cuoio. I can send you photos of a Fiorino coupe with navy interior. It just does not look as vibrant. They are .jpg files which this site does not recognize, unfortunately.
I'm the "guy in Colorado". I would be happy to post some pics here if it helps on your buying decision. I really like the color and the matching piping with the sabio interior. No driving this car with dirty jeans, but that won't be a problem. I spent 2+ hours cleaning the interior just after I got it, and it cleaned up really well. Couldn't be happier!!!!!!!!!!
Bill, It is a beautiful car and I know your are "the guy from Colorado"! BTW, isn't "rado" red? Jim Lyons is a great person, and he's very honest and straight forward. You did well buying from him. If you bought it around the $ figure Jim gave me, you did well. The sabbia is very nice with the fiorino, but keeping that interior clean will be a chore for sure. The red piping is outstanding as well. Sabbia is a much nicer color combo than the spider cuoio interior with the fiorino that was posted from Naples Motorsports. BHMC has a black 360 coupe with sabbia int, and it does not match well. It looks like it was left out in the sun too long! Great car. Have lots of fun with it. As soon as I find my color combo, I'll post that as well. regards,
I also think cuio is a great int. color it goes well with most of the colors. Is your dark-tan color cuio or somethig else. Someone mentioned natural as a interior color, does ayone has some pics of it and why does it ''suck''. I was under the impression that cuio and natural were the same color just different names for it, like tan-beige
I pulled out the window sticker and it said the color combination is Fiorano Red/Natural. Natural is a dark tan color. It is just a bit darker in person, than the photos shown previously above. If I had to do over, I wouldn't change a thing.
Heres a pic for my new 360 Fiorano color. I know it will be somewhat difficult to keep perfectly clean. But, so far, I spent about an hour cleaning it with leather cleaner and conditioner, and it came out really well.
