I ordered a set of "Fiorano" 3 piece wheels from Imola Racing specifically for the F355. The rear tires stick past the wheeel well about 3/4", the rim size is 11" with 295/30/19 pirelli P Zero's, the offset is 74mm. The president of Imola Racing, Michael Decker, claims to have these wheels on his personal 355 and his is the car featured on their web site. The tires are clearly inside the wheel well. Does anybdy else have these wheels and do yours fit? His set up spec was lower the car 1" and set the camber up at negative 3 degrees. This set up was all done at Ferrari of Washington and still no clearance. I don't want to ship the wheels back to Germany, but I don't know what else to do. I am frustrated. Any help would be appreciated!

What's the Imola P/N for those wheels?

Are you sure about the offset numbers? That's neary 3" of offset per side. It doesn't make sense! That means the total offset is nearly 6" widening the track by that amount.

Does that even seem possible? I think not.

Standard rear offset is 80mm, I believe, so the edge of the rim should protrude an additional 18.7mm over stock. The Tyre is only 30mm wider than stock so again, the wheel/tyre should be sitting 15-20mm further out than stock.
Either the offsets are wrong, or you have wheel spacers on the car already IMO.

Agree with Stephens. Shouldn't be protruding that far out, his calculations are spot on given the width and offset figures that you provided. Original rims 10.5" against 11" Fiorano = 0.5" or 12.7mm. Std rear offset of 80-74 Fiorano = 6mm . Add 12.7mm+6mm = 18.7mm. Yeah it should protrude only 15-20mm over stock at most given the tyres' shoulders the extra width a 295 section accords. And the 355 has way over 20mm if I can remember spare void in the wheel well..( Not wanting to sound patronising, Stephens...! just saving you the trouble explaining how you came to the figs...)

I have a 95 and have HRE wheels on my car with 295 18.
The first set that HRE sent me the rim protruded 15mm past the fender lip.
when I called HRE, they said that this was the same offset that they had used on all the other F355s but they did have the same problem on another F355s. They machined special centers for me to compensate and the new set fits perfectly. They said for some reasons., some F355s take different offsets and what fits on one F355 will protrude on others. Talk to Guy at HRE, he was helpful and new about wheels for F355s

    Hi Bob,
You may be on to something there. Imola Racing said they have sold 40 sets of these with no problems. The owner is scratching his head trying to figure it out. I will call HRE and pick their brain. Thanks for your reply!
