FIRE EXTINGUISHER PLACEMENT- 355spider

Now that I have rcvd my Halon extinguisher can I have some suggestions on where to attach it? As I have a spider it cannot go behind seats so I was considering passenger side footwell - are there any wires passing behind the door side of the foot well that I have to watch out for?

well, I've seen it in that location in many cars and you can simply bolt it to the seat bolts so it is 100% removable with no drilling or other issues. The other things as well is since this is basically under the passenger's knees, it does not eat into leg room in anyway, while something in the footwell, even on the side, would be in the way.

 

I have mine mounted in about the same spot in my F355B. The problem i have is the trigger on the extinguisher rubs against the leather on the passenger seat when someone is riding in that seat. So my easy fix was to tape a piece foam so the trigger now rubs on the foam instead of the leather.
