Turns out the 1.5 Lb Halotron was just what I needed for an aircraft replacement. That gave me a chance to upgrade the F355 to a 2.5 LB as I should have done in the first place.

    Elastic Straps with Quick Releases.
The fuzzy velcro on the bottle is not for mounting. Just to stop vibration rattles.
Not in the way of any passengers legs.
Easy reach by the driver. Can disconnect in two seconds.
If I do unstrap it the car is 100% stock.

Not sure why to make the mounting any more complicated. This sure works for me.

Now. Hopefully, it becomes one of those things you never actually use at all.

The straps are not attached. They simply stretch around the Fire Extinguisher bottle and the Seat Rail. They then hold the bottle against the rail with the fuzzy velcro padding it.

    That is nice!

Properly secure those extinguishers gents. A 35mph crash delta is 20g's. A 45mph delta is 50g's. A 5lb bottle now weighs 100lbs and 250lbs. Make sure the mountings can take that.
