    I bought two canister of fire extinguishers long time ago from Costco which contain Helon 121 ( bromochloridfluoromethane)and Helon 130 ( bromotrfluoromethane), Is this the right fire extinguisher to keep inside the car for emergency use.

    You probably mean Halon 1211. Yes, that's the good stuff, and has a very long shelf life even in extreme temperatures (like your car might experience in the winter and summer)
