Came home from work tonight and a large recycling bin was on fire right in front of my storage garage. Called the fire department and they showed up almost too late! But, damage was worse than it looked. No damage to the 456GT, except for a scratch where the fire department kicked in the door to put out fires. Phew!

Woah! That is really scary. I have worries about something like that happening to my 355 when I am at work or something like that. I never worry about the house though!

    Is the scratch bad?

I thought about moving the bin....but it was on fire! And who knows what was loaded inside that thing....aeresol cans, that metal can of paint thinner I saw on the ground the day before, etc. Scratch isn't bad....a little touch up paint should work.

I knew that looked like a Chicago street! Glad your car came out okay, I had a similar incident at my shop a few months ago, the fire department was very helpful
