Firefix, in my opinion, is the best thing to happen to the internet since Al Gore. Perhaps I'm a bit behind the times, but just yesterday I downloaded 2.0. Aside from the awesome new features, I'm having one minor problem that I'm hoping someone can help with.

Every morning, when I get to work, I have a daily routine. Part of this routine involves printing stuff. Everything I print in this routine is printed twice. When using my previous version of Firefox (1.0.7), I clicked print, the print window came up and I selected two copies. From there, I could click print for the next document and the print window had my number of copies saved from the last print.

Firefox 2.0 isn't doing that now. I have to manually tell the print window that I want two copies for every document (which is simply a matter of ALT+C, 2, but I'm frightfully accustomed to ease). Any ideas...?

Just saw this and I upgraded to 2.0 also. I had 1.5 and I don't see anything different other than cooler icons.

    Google it up.

It's supposed to be a small knock-off of Firefox, but with some of the tracking capabilities stripped out of it. It's mainly aimed for laptop users, to be run directly off of a USB drive..........

Isn't that a shot of how it looks like on the NEW Firefox (2.0). The old one would have an 'x' to close tabs if you have more than one tab open. I find it quite annoying too.

Found the fix for it. Type in about:config then change browser.tabs.closeButtons to "3"

Here's another annoyance. The tabs no longer get bunched up, instead they go off the page. Before, i could tell how many tabs i have open by how close together they are. Now, they are spread out and i have no idea how many tabs i have open

about:config lets you into the inner workings of the browser

remember what the default setting is, or write it down

    I set mine to 80

    Chris, FYI:

When you're in most programs - including Firefox 2.0 - you can hit CTRL+F4 to close the active window in said program without closing the program itself. ALT+F4 will shut down the whole program. I think I'm going to start a thread about key commands as I really like them and use them quite a bit. Perhaps we can all share what we know in there.

By the way, :), Firefox flagged you as spelling "firefox" wrong because you didn't capitalize the first 'F'... :)

CTRL+F4 works, but CTRL+W will also close the window, and it's easier... you can do it without streching your hand.

    CTRL+T opens new tab

CTRL+1 CTRL+2,3,4 etc will take you to the 1st tab, 2nd tab 3rd tab you have open.

CTRL+TAB will let you switch through tabs (like ALT+TABing)

F6 will take you to the URL prompt, so you can just press F6 and type or paste in the URL.

    Also.
Most important Windows command - Windows Key + D (minimizes everything and all you see is desktop)

anyone know where I can find a brushed theme for 2.0? They don't have one, and the rest of the themes are not cool in my book...
