The point is it has to have something distinguishing about it as there’s so many other similarly powered EV’s around perhaps it might be lighter, who knows how they will make it dynamically superior enough to justify 500k !
What’s the point of an EV that makes noise? Half the fun is that it’s quiet… Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
https://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?t=2083693 that's how a sporty ev should be done imo, absolutely ballistic and closer to f1 pace than any road car!
I find it humorous that they're going to make an all electric car. Unfortunately it is the future. I'm a little disappointed, to be honest.
I watched in the beginning More would watch if Ferrari were competing Racing is a learning curve. A R/D lab. Well we will see how well Ferrari will compete in all Electric vehicles. Would I buy the first generation of a never raced F electric?
That would depend on what you are getting at that price if its a 2+2 with 1200Hp and fake sound than its not worth 500k +
Pah! What you're getting will not be a Ferrari. It will (presumably) be a Magneti Marelli with Ferrari relegated to the role of coachbuilder.
Vigna is promoting the new E building and the first all electric Ferrari Will FIAMM supply the batteries?
In Germany they are known as Gnomes https://assets.wfcdn.com/im/10880859/resize-h1000-w1000%5Ecompr-r85/5482/54828876/Bobblehead+Gnome+with+Hands+at+the+Back+Statue.jpg
Konniggsegg ( should be a spelling bee question) is offering their own sport E model Anyone know if they are making their own motor or using YASA axial design?
First look at the prototypes by Derek https://www.instagram.com/p/C8r7ny3qzVr/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link&igsh=MzRlODBiNWFlZA== https://www.instagram.com/p/C8rsUg1qZ80/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link&igsh=MzRlODBiNWFlZA== Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Seems to have a smaller Puro form factor. I thought they’d go for a supercar for the first EV.
You figure the tailpipes are fake? I'm assuming at this point the body is a complete misdirection, only used to house the tech.
According to Derek it's an EV and they wouldn't be the first to put fake tailpipes on an EV mule. Yes the body is a modified Levante, which was also used on the Purosangue, I'm not sure if it will have a similar form factor or the mule is simply a tech mule that shares nothing with the final car. Will be interesting to see what they come up with.
Agreed, they're not wanting to give up any secrets at this point. Even in interviews they're incredibly tight lipped about the EV so I'd imagine they're throwing a distracting mule out there for testing.
You're right! It's a mulotipo, so the body says nothing. It's only a sign in which direction Ferrari is going with the car
Yes but had it been a 2+2 car I would expect to see a lusso not a SUV. a sports car would be a 296 etc
