WOW !!! Look at all those exclamation points !!! It makes it read like an infomercial !!! But wait, there's more !!! The shipping/insurance quote is downright confusing !!! I don't know if that's supposed to be $1550.00 or $155,000 !!! It's all so exciting, let's not wait for clarity !!! All the best !!! Andrew !!!
My German isn't great (in fact, it's terrible), but I think the negative feedback says something along the lines of: Buyer's Feedback: "Four weeks late and item doesn't fit!!" Seller's Reply: "Not for F348. Wheels for 355 and 360. First read, then buy." I guess if you have a bad deal early on, it really affects those percentages and makes others reluctant to try you out. Having said that, the unprofessional nature of the 458 advertisement would have me very reluctant to bid anyway... even assuming, hypothetically, that I had any money to bid. All the best, Andrew.
I saw a black one for sale from Germany about 2 months ago. This guy had a Reventon Roadster, SLS's and 458's. EDIT: Wow, it's the same guy.I find that hard to believe. If this place is a real dealer with all these cars in one spot, I'm moving to Germany!
What is the Ferrari on the side of the car in one pic and not on the side in a different pic of the same side? With that said did Ferrrari offer the car with a big Ferrari sticker on the side? Car looks great minus the sticker.
i'm going to buy this car with the money i just sent to my Nigerian Prince friend, all i had to do was give him $5000 cash to claim my inheritance, can't wait !
I just checked the link and the car is no longer available. I understand that new 458 owners must sign an agreement whereby they cannot sell to a private party (only an authorized Ferrari dealer) if they choose to sell their car within 12 months of delivery. Is this only true in the U.S.?
Today mobile.de has 88 of the 458 models on offer. Doesn't seem to be a resale problem over there. CH
Most 458 models offered are either red or black with the occasional white or gray example. Only one yellow 458... Then there is this rather bold color combination of red with a red/white interior> CH Image Unavailable, Please Login
and yet standard practice for years over in the UK market was to order red exterior with crema interior and red carpet. CH
That car perfectly illustrates the basic problem with the level of customisation that Ferrari are now allowing. In their quest to relieve it's customers of every last penny Ferrari are prepared to allow people with absolutely no taste whatsoever to design the 458 Italia. I personally think the design of the 458 should be left to the talented gentlemen at Pininfarina.
LOL. I won't be posting pics of mine when it arrives, this is a tough audience - I did a bit of extracampanario myself Yes, this one was not too pleasing to the eye, agreed. But here you have an example of someone without a care for re-sale values, which is a good thing.
Why is it no individual at Pininfarina has been given credit for the 458 exterior design... Remember before when some early production 458's had exterior mirrors that did not match the body color? One example was the white 458 wearing red mirrors. It was speculated that perhaps Ferrari was short of parts and red mirrors were used to complete the car. Perhaps that wasn't the case. Now Ferrari is officially offering a 599 GTO in black with red mirrors. Another GTO is white with blue mirrors. CH
Sure, it was Frank Stephenson who directed the styling of the 430 and the 612 followed by the 599. It was Ken Okuyama who did the Enzo. Going back even further the 365 GTB/4 Daytona was the pen of Leonardo Fioravanti. CH
