I filmed the very first 458 Spider in the Midwest at the 2012 St. Louis European Autoshow. It sounds absolutely phenomenal and looks amazing as well. All comments are appreciated.

That's a very unfortunate angle for it (the picture you attached)...

Really? I personally thought that was one of the best angles for it. To each his own I suppose!

Didn't mean to be harsh. When the 458 Italia arrived it was discussed that it was a car where the traditional front side shot didn't bring out the best of its design. I guess the same goes for 458 Spider. The Spider bumps behind the seats look awkwardly big to me in the shot you posted, ruining the Spiders sleek lines.

I also didn't quite love the 458 Italias design when I first saw the pictures, but I totally changed my mind on the design when I saw one in the flesh. Crossing fingers for the same "Wow, this is actually pretty good!" experience with the Spider ;)

Nah I didn't take it as harsh at all! I was the same way, seeing the 458 in person made me love it. Same with the Spider...I didn't like it AT ALL in photos..in person it was stunning.

You mean the 15 seconds of very faint background music at the beginning? That is the only music in there...which I couldn't do anything about...

I'm sorry guys: The 458 spider is better looking than the coupe with the top down.

    It just is.

From what I was told, those were sold out of the midwest..and this is the first privately owned in the Midwest. Open to be proven wrong! This is just what I was told.

I know it is hard to judge from the vidclip, but the exhaust on the spyder seem to sound louder than the italia? Or its just me?

LOL, the driver gave his car to someone else to back into the parking space. The tail pipes are matte black so I wonder if the exhaust is after market.

After your comment I went back to watch the second half of the video... you weren't kidding. Not only did someone else have to park it, but the parking job itself was IMO a complete embarrassment to the Ferrari Marque! One one side there is the 458, Ferrari racing heritage, the inspiration of man and machine making poetry. Then the scene changes and you are forced to watch these imbeciles afraid to inch their car into a parking space. By the end I felt like I was watching "These are the people of Walmart vid" Perhaps the 458 will never be the same again.

I think you can get matte black tips from the Factory now so it may not be aftermarket. I am no expert though just going by what I think I read here before.

I'm sorry to disagree and I know you own a coupe. To me the coupe is sheer brilliance and sexiness. The Spider better than previous, especially with a metal roof comes close but isn't quite there yet.
