This is the first time I've seen the ad and as far as I can tell, it was posted within the last 12 hours.

Either way, I hope it goes to a good home and does more than 175 miles over the next year...

That dealership has five or six 458 Italia's on e-bay right now. (including what I believe to be Dan360's white ex-Italia) They always have tons of high quality pictures on all of their listings. HOWEVER thier web site says this GTO is sold and the linked thread is from a guy who said he bought it almost a month ago. Fishy indeed.

*edit* so if you follow the FChat link above it says sold. If you just load their site it says $call. Humm..

Maybe ufjdmba didn't go through with his deal? He never posted his own pictures, information about delivery etc? If you look at their ebay profile they seem to be fairly new in the business..considering that, it seems strange how they are throwing tons of high priced cars on the market all of a sudden...
I think the only person who could clear things up is ufjdmba!

I purchased the car to track. Unfortunately the car is too incredible to destroy by racing it. I bought a dedicated track car that can drop a wheel with far less headaches and time in the shop. The GTO is the best Ferrari I have ever driven. It needs a home where someone has the restraint not to track her. Driving emotions is a great dealer who originally found me the car. I bought a 458 from them too. No BS with this. Car is real and ready for sale! Any other questions ask.

Bummer...I've seen the car in person and it's spectacular! I wish it would stay here in Colorado but that has a slim chance of happening...

I'm saddened, but understand not wanting to bang it on the armco. But, we'll miss your enthusiasm and interest.

Maybe just use it like I do--hard twisty, hilly driving on Sat/Sunday :)...keep another to pound on the track. It doesn't get much better.

Thanks for your suggestion of using as a road car but I just got my third ticket in two years so I don't have any "leeway" should I punch the car in front of the fuzz. No self restraint when it comes to that GTO power :)).

There is one at Lake Forest Sports car with less than 300 miles. I think they are asking 100k over sticker.

Wait...! This thing was in Colorado?!

This one (the eBay one) is going for around that over book. [Rough estimate since I don't think they posted the moroney or original MSRP.]

Here in Switzerland, there was a car at a bmw dealer being advertised at list price, it might have been an import as this dealer does a few of those, and the Swiss mark down imported cars (old timers excepted).

Only one car for sale, at the Zurich Ferrari dealership, July 10, 4700km, CHF 100k over list asking price

 $645,100.00 USD (reserve not met)!

I'm curious... what would be a fair selling price for that car?

    All the best,
    Andrew.

I'm curious what the reserve might be...
List price would be a fair price in my opinion. It's a car dealership and they are obviously already making profit with list price. Making 200k or more with one single car happens once in a lifetime to regular car dealerships - and since they have sold pretty usual cars up to know, they don't seem to be too special. Just my two cents...

My guestimate is that reserve will probably be in the region of $650k....that equates to about £400k......which sounds about right with current premiums.
