This show is gonna suck compared to the UK version. Adam is a car nut, but that Tanner kid hosts that HORRID show on Speed and the other guy is a freaking house contractor or something.

    From the article:
“We’re going to do it exactly the same as they do it in England, and you’ll be able to say whatever you want about any car you like regardless of who makes it or if they sponsor the show or not.”
If true, it's gonna put a lot of the criticisms about the show to shame.

I think it all sounds very promising!

So does this mean that "Big Stig" is going to be doing the fast laps?

Bet Carolla'll get it done - may have to dole out a Bonaduce or two along the way - but if the network'll loosen up the bite guard a bit and let him blurt sans-governor, could be some pretty watchable fare. Might also be cool - and not boring - if they made Travis Pastrana "The Stig" (and called him "Travis Pastrana"?).

Adam will probably be ok, but i gotta wonder if one or more other hosts will try to be some sort of snarky 20-something type 'dude', which'll for sure turn off anyone over 30.

The BBC version appeals to anyone/everyone cuz they don't try to hit a target age, just have the 'Brit' attitude and tell it like it is.

Last thing we need in the U.S. is one more 'tuner' type show, i can't stand that crap.
