Point of clarification. This drive is open to all marques. FWIW, I have never and will never organize a drive that is limited to Ferrari only. The only criteria is that you are passionate about your car. However, if your car has cupholders...you will really find out the definition of Frosty balls Look forward to next weekend. We did a prerun this morning with the legendary Bob Craig and his son Josh and it went very smoothly. It is just under 100 miles and takes about 3 hours. We are going to move the departure time up to a firm 9:30 wheels up to try and limit exposure to traffic on some of the roads. See ya next weekend!!!!!!!
Count me in please Joe. Took off from the agency for a rare Saturday off. Two shirts please, one Large, one XL.

As I sit here in the airport in Phoenix AZ and it is sunny and 85 degrees I dream of the Frosty Balls Rally next weekend. Our friend Nickd provides this inspiration! http://www.youtube.com/v/VVgzKwCb48M

That's so great Jon! But as you know, Joe's car doesn't ever see rain, snow, or salt. I bet he gets out of the car if he needs to break wind!
For those who may not be familiar with our starting point. We will be meeting at our regular Cars and Coffee location, at the corner of Rt 202 and Dilworthtown Rd in West Chester, PA. There is a Plaza there with a Starbucks. We meet next to the Starbucks. We will depart at 9:30 and return approximately 12:30 for lunch at Bull Durham' Texas Steakhouse, which is also located in the same plaza. http://www.bulldurhams.com/ Our drive will be just under 100 miles. Please remember this is intended to be a fun leisurely drive. PLEASE respect all traffic laws. All we need is one bad apple ruining this for the rest of us. Also, there are joggers and bicyclists out, please be particularly mindful of them on our drive. While we are calling this a Rally. It is a nice cruise through farmland and some winding country roads. We will break up into groups of five. Each person is responsible for the person behind him. So how can you win this drive? Well, you have already reviewed the rules for participation. Beyond that, the real test is who can brave the elements the best. The winner, will be the person who braves the elements with the least amenities and the most exposure. For those of you in modern cars, I suggest a T-shirts and shorts ....We will have a rally for Pneumonia awareness next month Of course, if you have a modern car vs. an older car making the same sacrifices, the older car would naturally win...SOOOOOOOO, a Modern car driver ONLY can get an additional point for each piece of "flair" he wears. So, now is the time to break out your head to toe Ferrari outfit and your mooseskin hat. The winner will be determined by a blue ribbon panel of me. More to come... I look forward to seeing everyone next weekend!
Gentleman, I apologize, but I will not be able to attend the event this weekend. Joe please tak e my name off the list. My son and I were riding the go karts. I was on the new one that we just finished making and long story short I rolled it. I am pretty bruised up. I don't think my body will be able to take the weather this weekend. Anyway gentleman have a safe ride! Barry
Barry, Provided there is a youtube video of your accident floating around somewhere for my entertainment, I would be willing to let you keep the top up on our ride. Just kidding, come anyway. After all, we have to give special consideration to the fact that you were injured in your fatherly duties. Of course, in fairness to everyone else, you will be required to wear head to toe "Flair" if you decide to attend. Still in?
No. Apparently you are unfamiliar with Rule 7.32 (exceptions) Rule 7.32. The Barry Theal exception. You can participate in the drive and take full advantage of modern amenities if: (1) Your 8 year old child proves demonstratively that he is a better driver than you. (2) You have recently suffered a temporarily disfiguring injury while trying to manhandle a motorized vehicle with under 10 Horsepower. (3) You are employed as a detailer and are willing to extend a discount to the drive organizer (4) You are willing to wear ample enough "flair" that the mockery you will endure from your peers is far worse than walking through the frozen wilderness wearing nothing but a sock. If you need any further clarity, please let me know
Gee thanks guys. Joe, I'll bet my gokart would have out ran that mondial of yours. lol I have several gokarts that range from a 5.5 horse power briggs and straton to mine, which is a no go for right now. Mine actually has a 150 cc motor. Six speed and is one bad ass toy. I was going roughly 20 to 30 when I cut a corner to fast and lost control. I rolled about 20 feet and flip over 2 times. Luckily I was harnessed and yes believe it or not they held my tubby butt in. lol Needless to say my feet and lower legs were banged against the steering column and several other parts. I will see how i feel but I'm worried about the hundred mile run. I more concerned with the on and off of gas and such. I am struggling to bend my knees. It was actually a pretty ruff run. Luckily I was actually wearing my helmet this time and walked away from it. Although I did get some great meds from it! wooooohooooooo The worst of it was seeing my one sons face. He was a scared little guy. Barry Speed has never killed anyone, Stupidness of gokart rolling , thats what gets you. --Barry Theal
ok..... with the small run of the shirts and doing a 4 colour design we are looking at around 14 per shirt my cost. If that is too much for anyone let me know so i can take u off the shirt list. I will also print womans long sleeve shirts for the women so they are not stuck in a t-shirt. Something flattering ) the sleeve print is out due to then driving the cost of the shirt towards 20 bucks per... sorry gonna be a very nice shirt i promise! any design changes speak up i have to deliver art tomorrow afternoon.
Late breaking news!!! I have agreed to go to my wife's community bible study gathering on Friday, in exchange for which she has agreed to let me have a frosty balls adventure. Er, let me rephrase. There is a very good possibility that Ali and I will be in attendance for at least the ending of the run at the restaurant, if not the run itself. Dave
The shirt price is no problem. Thanks for doing this for us. If we have a choice, I would like a long sleeve also. Since it is a "frosty balls" event, long sleeve might be more appropriate. Plus I have a drawer full of short sleeve tees.
Sean - still in for a large and thanks for doing this for everyone. Joe - 95+% sure I will attend this weekend. My navigator is still a little shaky. 1. JoeZaff (Balls to the Walls Zaff) 2.
