Mmm, it's a Swiss car. I may have to drive by the one guy I know here in CH with an MC12 to check it wasn't his.

"Here is the first wreck of an MC 12 (that we know of). The crash occurred during a trip from Martigny to Torino Wallis, Switzerland. The driver was actually a woman and she was not injured."

    Surprised? ;)

you got 50 or so of these in the world and really, i much rather seeing them vaccuum packed in time capsules by rich colllectors, and taken out at concours and trackdays rather than on the road or snow covered tracks.

What fun is a vaccum packed car? They were made to drive... so drive the damn things. This is a sad wreck, but it is even more sad to such a great car sitting unused.

They had an initial batch of 25, followed by a second of 25. 50 would be about correct, plus 5 racing versions.

Ouch. I can't imagine the feeling of "I'm such an idiot!" you feel after doing something like that.

Wasn't the first wreck Frank Mountain putting his into the wall in the snow on 5th Gear? Sure the damage was minor in comparison, but I say he gets to keep that trophy. :D

As far as I know that's correct. However, the damage was minor, in fact I believe they continued to drive the car after it happened.
