Well the first day I arrive in town a 5.6 strikes. What was strange i didnt even feel it. I was talking to my sister on the phone at the time and she felt it in Pac Heights, the hotel staff in the Wharf area felt it, and i was less than 100 yards from the hotel having a drink and didnt feel it at all.

On a good omen, saw a Red 430 on my way into the city from SFO. So it equals out.

Great weather thus far and very happy to be here. Should have moved here years ago.

    Cheers !!

I think it'll be a good idea to organize one good last SR meet before winter hits as a closure to the sunny season. Any thoughts?

+1. We should try to get some Supercar Sunday-like numbers. I think HUGE meets once a month would be an addition to the weekly ones and would bring people from a farther distance. I love the normal weekly SR meets just as much as the next guy, but they have been dwindling down to where sometimes I feel I could see better cars (and more of them) just walking through downtown Los Gatos. Supercar Sunday happens every sunday, but the last suday of the month they have a much larger meet, with people coming from all over So. Cal. not just the immediate area. Anybody think a similar thing could work w/ SR?

BTW I am not ragging on the quality of the cars at SR, because not many people get to see a GT3RS every saturday, but the quantity. Today is a perfect example: 10 or so vettes, 1 355, 5 or so porsches and a maser.

    Welcome RedBarchetta!

That was me. I was surprised there were no other F-cars, especially given the perfect weather. The top-down drive through the hills on the way home was very enjoyable though.

Yes you are correct Mike :) it was actually my 2nd drink after a long flight and a last minute change of plans. I had originally planned on staying in "Lower Nob Hill" for a week or two but after the driver dropped me off there and i figured that "Lower Nob" = "Tenderloin" I hailed the first taxi and said take me to the Wharf area and a large hotel.

I booked my stay online and figured i would be ok in that area (lower nob) but i was WAY wrong on that one. So i just stayed at the Marriott @ The Wharf for several days before finding a short-term spot.

Turned out well though since i was close to North Beach area and i love Italian food and their lifestyle etc. Weather has been perfect these past several days and that was one of the atleast ten reasons for moving here, so i have been lucky.
