well my family just picked up a 360 spider a few days ago... below are just some of the things i noticed while driving it: 1) people automatically assume that its the fastest car...#1 question "how fast does it go"... 2) irregardless of what others say, you can in fact drive a ferrari in snow or rain...(crawling around at low speeds is essential) 3) kids 10-15 seem to know the most about the car and are also the most respectful older teenagers seem to think theres a sign on the car that says "light up your tires when you see me" 4) people try to constantly pull you over 5) i looove it ...more to come
Nice!!! Welcome to the excitement of Ferrari owner/drivership...it's awesome. Looking forward to pics and, perhaps, seeing the car on a run in the future? nlh
GD: congrats!...I'm also North Jersey, and also in the market (black on black) for a 360 Spyder...can you share with us who you bought from and whether or not it was a decent buy experience....thanks
thanx everyone... i have tons of pics with the phone camera and only a couple with the digi...i'll see if i can post it asap... udalmia- yea its nero con cuio (black on dark tan) pjh - we bought it from wwoc...mainly due to its proximity ...very satisfied with the whole buying experience, and i believe they still have several spiders left in the showroom, although only a coupe in black.
Thanks bro...rare opportunity last night to have all three parked next to each other (even though the g-car was a surrogate), so had to snap some pics...
I've heard good things about the WWoC buying experience, though when I shopped there for coupes their prices were a bit on the high side. Any idea what color spiders they have in stock?
was there on sunday and they have spider in yellow, red and dark blue i think. their price(at least the asking price) is WAY high though. '04 coupe for 176k, '98 spider for 115.
Yup, that's the problem I'm having with the likes of WWoC, Miller and most other East Coast dealers...while I dread dealing with folks in Texas, AZ or CA, I know I can shave at least $10-20K on the Spyder, and just deal with the hassle of long distance. I would guess that warmer climes have more "unauthorized" dealers that would tend to take some of the air out of the tires on pricing and keep the whole lot of em more sharp on pricing...Miller was a joke on some of their prices, WWoC not mych better and while I'm still waiting for Chris of FoCNJ to return, what they have in inventory is way over inflated. Again, would buy local if the difference were negligible, but seems it's not.
The blue they have is TDF....and $215K on the 03 Spyder. p.s. they actually have very limited inventory.
