F8 First Drive Experience

Great to see that a Rosso Fiorano F8 is out there. I have an F8 Spider ordered in Rosso Fiorano and am curious about your impressions of the F8 in Rosso Fiorano. I still have time to change the color spec if needed. Thanks.

Interesting. I have not driven one as most complained about lack of acustic exhaust notes. All have said it's response,ride and general layout are great as is the handling,suspension % power. Sounds like one may be in your future!

 

If the only issue is with the exhaust note, why not get something like a Novitec exhaust installed?

 

Well the truth is Ivan unlike my past I am quite satisfied with my 15 Italia. Used to have something new every 6mo to a yr.. The F8 is an attractive platform I must say.

 

Definitely cannot go wrong with a 458 Italia! I also was not directing that at you, I just meant in general. I have heard others complain about the F8 exhaust as well.

Exactly correct on all accounts

 

If you manually shift this car the exhaust note is very nice. As described it is adequate without being annoying or obnoxious. Sometimes less is more.

I’ve test driven the F8 Spider. Wonderful car, but I’m not trading my 458S for one.

 

And no one would expect you to or blame you. They are two different cars. One is undoubtedly iconic. The other special in its own right, but not Speciale special.
