Old man LOL Yup its really a great car.......love looking down the bonnet. Need to do a couple of minor things to her but all is really good. Absolutely love the ride..
They are much quicker than most realize. Also a lot smaller than I think people realize (you can see a little of that from your pics above). Awesome you took it to the office - I've done that a few times with mine!
Congratulations again! It's always so nice to have a car show up and be as good, if not better, than you expected it to be.
Very Nice... As Jeremy said... Imagine in late 1963, if you blew into a little town driving this..." What The H### was that " I believe their is a misnomer...about Flywheels.. A lightweight flywheel is a disadvantage IMO..you may rev a hair quicker..but your torque stall is alot lower...maybe if the XK engine produced closer to 450 hp..it would be an advantage..but at 265..you be double clutching off the line in drag mode. I agree........ and yes they are tiny compared to what pics of them look like online........I doubt anybody over 6' would be able to fit in it comfortably Im 5 11 and with the seat all the way back its perfect, I have about 3" of headroom. This reminds me of a drive I took in a 330GTC I almost bought a few years back.
Here's me in my Dad's '65 E. I'm also about 5'11" and you can tell how close it is for me. But I still *LOVE* driving that car! gp Image Unavailable, Please Login
