    This is bugging the heck out of me. Sometimes when I put it in first gear and let the clutch out I get nothing. Other times after a stop I put it in first and the gears connect. Any ideas?
    Linkage adjustment maybe. I just hope it is not something inside the trans. Any pointers on adjusting the shift linkage or trouble shooting. Thanks.

    I had a similar problem on my first Mondial but that was years ago so my memory is a bit foggy. I do recall how messy the job was.

    Anyway, there are a few threads, just search for shift linkage either in this forum or the 308/328.
