First long run of the year

With the Northeast enjoying an early spring, actually no winter, my wife and I moved up our planned wine tour to VA. We left Friday morning in the rain but it cleared by midday but windy. After the brief snow shower cleared in the morning Saturday was gorgeous. We hit many of our regular vineyards and a few new ones in the "upstate" region of VA (Loudon County, Front Royal down to Culpeper). "Prancr" ran like a top for the near 1000 mile tour; 5 years of nurturing is paying off. That is not to say I did not come home with a list of 10 little items to work on. Roads in VA were in great shape with no evidence of winter issues and the State Troopers minded their own business too! Next trip will be PennJersey's Spring Thaw at end of March.
