How about a pitch black car for team Blackwater? They made enough money lately to support a F1 team or 2. The oil companies have been socking away alot of dough enough to support an F1 team. Let see someone photoshop that car Blackwater, Phillips 66, or Mobile Oil. It could have oilwells with bright orange flames down the sides. They could even up armour it. LOL. Ok photoshop boys, you have your assignment.

I must say it's great to know that there's so much talent lurking in this forum! Let's have a show of hands - how many of you have ever: #1) sat in or driven a race car of any type, much less an F1 car. #2) won a professional race series or even a race. #3) managed a race team on any level. #4) secured or provided sponsorship for a race team. #5) engaged spell check on your computer.
Wow! ALL of you? I AM impressed! I'm just assuming that everybody's hands were up on all the questions (except, obviously on #5) because the wisdom demonstrated by most of the snarky comments re Ms. Patrick must have been born of great experience! You are denigrating a driver who has fought all her life against the same sort of prejudice y'all are so eloquently expressing & somehow managed to make it to what passes for the pinnacle of American motorsports - & stood on the top of the podium! So what if she flashes a little skin in the process - to be successful in ANY enterprise you have use what you've got! I don't hear any of you going after little Al or Michael or Marco or Ralf for using their family connections to leapfrog their way through the feeder series. Racing's a cutthroat business & you gotta go after any possible advantage. I suspect that even some of you naysayers might have earned glory in excess of that which you've apparently achieved if your dad had owned a kart track like Schumi's.
What really bothers me is the blatant sexism. Uh, guys, you know this is 2009? I strongly suspect that, all else being equal, Danica would absolutely SMOKE all of us in any kind of match race! Does the idea of a woman F1 pilot threaten your masculinity to such an extent that you need to resort to personal slurs? Is that the way you feel about your mothers/daughters/wives/girlfriends? Sad.
By the way, for those of you who feel NASCAR is boring - I'd like to see you say that after spending one lap in the seat of a Cup car at 200 MPH on an oval surrounded by 42 "talentless" testosterone-crazed schlubs like JP Montoya, Jeff Gordon, & Tony Stewart! You must have exceedingly exciting lives!
By the way, Taz - I'm exempting you from this diatribe because I feel the same way about the weight advantage issue in IRL! I wish only the best for F1USA!
    Yr fthfl svt, Jim

Sexism is what got her the ride. Other than her last win what was the previous one ? If I recollect correctly it was in a cart race.
    How many years ago ?
If this were a MALE driver with such a record would he even have gotten even close to this far ?
The reality is there if you choose to look at it with open eyes.
