Cool!! Wish there was less camo on it though (assuming thats what the black is). The black makes it hard to see the lines and curves of the body.
I believe it has something to do with EU pedestrian safety regulations... In any case, the car looks great to me
This 3-4 rear shot shows the that the rear hips are far more interesting than the earlier renderings. This to me is the most best revealing new view we have seen. The rear is still a bit large to fit the roof but definately, the proportions are starting to work here. I like how the cut line in the trunk area goes through the exaggerated hips. The roof seems to be one enormous curved piece with no gaps or seals for the rear window... very clean. There's also something going on with the lower tail lights. My feeling is that in person, this car is really going to have some stunning looks. I'm still curious about the interior.... Image Unavailable, Please Login
seems to be silly o be running the car around in camo, considering Ferrari were the ones who released the press photos and exclusive website.
Ummmm... yes. Sorry but I don't see why some can't see the obvious references to a classic. Do I like the classic better? You bet. But this interpretation is definately linked to the past. It is...a Ferrari. Image Unavailable, Please Login
looks better in those pics but thats one BIG Ferrari. I like it but would have love it if its a couple of inches lower. oh and in those pics, it doesnt look like a S2000 or lexus.
Agree, the wheel gap is pretty bad and it looks like the 599 proportions. Oddly, the one picture of the closup of the front of the car looks like the front of a Lotus Elise. These pictures I don't think make you saw WOW though.
I still can't see much other than the fact it is BIG for a Ferrari. The reference to the classic is there indeed. I hadn't noticed that before. Forza, Cavallini
Why do they still bother putting camo on it even though official pictures have been released? People now know what the styling looks like anyway.
I don't know why people are complaining about the California, it's WAY better than the vanilla plain 612 and funky arse Scuderia. (and yeah, I've seen both in person plenty of times and the Scuderia rear end makes me want to kick it or plaster it up)
I think it looks great. And yes... the camo does make it difficult to see the lines of the car... but that is in fact what the camo is designed to do... hide the true shape or shapes of the vehicle. Also, i don't see how pople are calling this car boring. This car has more curves and creases than a 612 or 599. The thing that makes the 599 is beautiful is the fact that what little exciting body work is on the car was done very subtle. The 612 is definetly the most boring f-car produced style was currently, and this car has much more eye catching curves, cuts and creases. It almost feels as if there is a little bit of Bangle in it... not much. Its as if someone took the good ideas that bangle had and put some of them to work on the car... and it worked beautifully. Its exciting and definetly much more modern looking, but still has an overall "organic ferrari" look. I can't really explain my comment of organic, or orgainic ferrari... its just two hard to type... I hope some of you understand what I am getting at...
