I'm another that would avoid a 348/355. The whole 'engine out' service aspect just adds to the expenses. 10 hours extra x $100/hr (if you can find a shop that cheap) means an extra $1000 just to the get the car to the point of being worked on. It's a 10 minute job to get the wheel off and the fender well out on a 308/328 for the access required to do a belt change. I do think the OP can find 328's in the mid $30's. Hell, I'd just about sell him mine for $35k and it has a fresh major. It does have 62k miles though. Over the hill for many buyers, even though it runs great.
You should be proud of the mileage; It's about right for a car that age. Garage queens are more $$ to fix and to buy. Our cars are like horses - they need exercise.
