Hello all, First time on the site, looking for some insight into Ferrari before buying. I have bought sports cars in the past with known problems,(Porsche/Intermediate shaft, RX-7, blown seal on rotary engine, among others) which could have been avoided had I done this!
I am a recently retired Blackhawk pilot, currently flying drones in the big catbox. When I get home, my present to myself will be a F355, unless I get info otherwise on this site.

I look forward to getting to know Ferrari and the owners.

    Hi Robert,

Welcome to FChat. There seems to be a lot of Roberts in the Ferrari community. That name must attract success.

Give Gary Bobileff in San Diego (www.bobileff.com) a call. He will tell you straight up what all the issues are with all the various models. We bought our Testarossa from him and he's hands down the most honest guy in the business. He's a Ferrari restoration and service expert who also sells cars on consignment. His showroom is like Disneyland for adults. Go check it out.

Also, the current President of the San Diego Ferrari Owner's Club owns and drives a F355. Maybe I can get him to contact you.

Anyway, good luck and keep up the research. We spent the better part of a year finding and purchasing our car.

    Rob
