I have been looking to purchase my first F-car for a couple of years now. I started off looking at 308's (ala Magnum PI) and then slowly gravitated towards the 355, then the 360, and finally the F430 Spider.

I understand that there are very few variations year over year in the F430, especially when considering 2006-2009 with the exception of the standard ceramic brakes in the latter years. I am trying to figure out how much value to give a Model Year in terms of mileage and could use some help. For example, all things being equal, how much more valued is a 2007 vs a 2006? And Model years being equal, what is the difference between 8500 miles and 11500 miles?

Are there any options that are "must haves"? For example, I have been told by some to skip any car that doesn't have Daytona's or Scuderia Shields and at least some amount of Carbon Fiber in the cockpit as it would greatly reduce the market for the car if I were to ever sell it in the future.

Any thoughts/suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
