So we had an unexpected crazy snow this week. What is your winter mode car? Wondering, what you ballers have inside the garage. Starting to see a lot of Range Rovers in Great Falls/Mclean area. As if people stored them and just bring them out for winter.

I am ashamed to admit that I did not drive the 575 (my daily) in the snow. However, I was scheduled to use my Altima this week as I had to bring 2 Engineers off site.

The 575 should resume normal duty on Monday.

The beauty of AWD! Add launch control, turbo anti-lag, electronic diffs, dogbox, proper snow tires, steering quickner and carbon fiber galore. Didn't wait for it to snow here.

E500 4Matic or the Acura RL with SHAWD, whatever the hell that means.

Plop on snow tires, and AWAY WE GO.

Pretty much any AWD car will do pretty well with the winters that we get around here. My old Audi TT was good, minus the "performance" tires I was using. My current Jag X type is amazing in the snow. Who knew the Brits could do AWD?

True 99.2% of the time. But those AWD cars with 4 inches of ground clearance get hung up everytime we get over 6 inches of snow, granted that is only every three years lately, and I have to go pull out my stuck neighbors with the Jeep. ;)
