First ticket

It seems like the first or second question you are asked as a F-car owner is "how many tickets do you have" I used to be able to be one of the proud guys who culd say that I never had a ticket in my life, never been pulled over. Just the other day I was driving down th ten freeway just heading east of the 111 cut off for Palm Springs, this stretch of road is known as the speed zone where most cars are drivning in excess of 100mph. I was following one of those new BMW's and thought I would pull out ad pass. There were not many cars on the road so I kicked it pretty good 150-160 not sure I was keeping y eyes out for police. As I was ocming up on my exit I lifted off the gas (at least 5 miles prior to it) and saw a white Camaro on the side of the free way.. It was a CHP.. From my rear view mirror I saw dirt just flying, the camaro going sideways all over the road. I actually laughed a bit, then felt the cold sweat coming on as I knew he caught me in excess of 120mph.
To make a long story short he was a really nice guy and dropped the ticket to 100mph in a 70mph zone.. No fine printed on the ticket or aythng like that, he said the court would send me a notice of some kind indicating fine, and if he was to give me a ticket for 101 in the 70 I would loose my driving pive for 30 days etc... I was cool with it all, he handed me the ticket then asked if I could show him the engine.. What te hell could I say so I gave him the Ferrari tour and headded on my way... Pissed as hell but hey I did the crime so i am going to have to pay the fine....

The very next mroing as I was driving down Vista Chino to go to the gym.
I had the top down, golf clubs on the passenger seat. I know that looking young really is not always good. I am no longer in my 20's or 30's but still look 21... ok25 or so.
I passed a police car, this time I knew I was not speeding, I knew I had not done anything wrong but this old bastard of a cop pulled me over and went off on me, telling me Ihad not used turn signals, I was speeding, I was a punk.
This is something you would typically hve happen to you if you are a 16-20 year old driver, the cop trying to bully the hell outta you.
I actually got out of my car, stood up and asked him to write the ticket or end his speach, I know I did not do a thing wrong and I do not accept bullying.
He got into his car, poked his head out and hollared "I am looking for you" and sped away, I caught up to him, copied his car number down, called my Lawyer and asked him about what I should do as I know Palm Springs is a small town and I am driving a car that does not exactly blend in. He told me to go right to the local police station to ensure that I have something on file so that when this police officer hassles me in the future, I could take drastic action.
I talked to the Police oficer in charge about this incident. To make a long story short I accepted an apology and have soemthing on file just in case this police officer continues to have a hard on for me.

So I have been driving 25++ years and in two days I get my ass in trouble twice.. Knock on wood!
