360 First time F-car owner checking in

Last week I checked off a bucket list item and bought my first Ferrari. A 2000 Modena, gated 6MT in Giallo. Factory options were rear challenge grille, shields, and yellow seat piping over black leather. PO added CS wheels, and some nice aftermarket carbon throughout the interior & engine bay. It also has a Topspeed exhaust which sounds incredible.

I intend on driving this car and not just let it sit and look pretty, so I wanted one with some miles that has been properly maintained. This one has 66k on it but drives like it has a small fraction of that. Exterior condition is very good. Interior I would like to improve on. Driver seat has some bolster wear and the piping on that bolster is worn. A friend is good with leather repair and thinks we can die the bolster and sand down/paint/clear the piping. If anyone has any other thoughts on that, I'd love to hear it.

Other thing that will eventually need attention, in PPI it came up that FL & RR shocks were weeping slightly. So far I haven't felt any noticeable impact on handling, but I will likely pull them & send to Madeno for refurbishing in NL when the time comes. Great to have options like this. For time being I'll enjoy driving it and monitor the situation.

Yep! The 748R is my buddies bike. I've got a red '99 996SPS though
