Hey everyone, First off, I wanted to send a general thank you to everyone on Ferrarichat. Although this is my first post, I've spent countless hours on here reading your posts and educating myself in preparation for owning my first Ferrari. That said, is there anyone in the South Florida area that has seen this particular car and/or can attest to it's condition/history? Used 1997 Ferrari F355 for sale I've done some searching and the service history seems to be decently documented and the few I have spoken with (some people who have worked on the car, etc) have had nothing but good things to say. Being a very thorough person however, I just bought I'd open it up to this community to hear any additional thoughts as I live in Los Angeles and can't simply drive over and take a look (although I do plan to fly out and see the car before any deal is finalized). I'm open to hearing your comments for or against this car (regarding mileage, asking price, etc.) as well as any general information you feel would be beneficial to a first time Ferrari owner. A little bit about me: I've owned somewhere in the neighborhood of 45-50 vehicles thus far, am a former Bondurant instructor, and currently compete in a limited (unfortunately, do to work constraints) schedule in the IMSA Continental SportsCar Challenge. In short, no need to let up on the technical jargon etc...I know my way around an automobile! ; ) Thanks in advance! -Erik

Can't say much about the car other than it's been for sale for a while. It's been at that dealer for a little over a month. Before that it was at a dealer in Houston for a while. Last week it was listed on the dealer site for $79,997. Now priced $5000 more, but still listed at $79,997 on cars dot com. 1997 Ferrari F355 , $79,997 - Cars.com.
That dealer had 2, a red gts for 69k with 31k miles and the car your looking at. I was going to check them out but ended up buying a different one. I believe f chat member " michael craig" may have bought the gts. Pm him and see if he looked at both
I think it's amazing you have be able to talk To people about the cars past, it has paperwork im not sure what kind of warm fuzzy we can give you about it?? I know nothing of that car except It's red blah! Haha
