    Just got my 1999 Ferrari Spider with F1 trans!!! Red?tan and I love it! It's great to be part of the club. Thank you all for the great information on ferrarichat. Thanks also to allanlambo who I met while I was visiting Maui. Super guy with a wealth of information. I'm in Southern California so hope to meet some of you along the way.

    One more question...

    I remember reading an article months back that the true beauty of owning the car you do aside from its amazing performance and looks is that it truly gives you the owner..the feeling of driving a race car every time you turn the key...

    How true is that statement from the automotive press?

    Enjoy it! And don't forget to make sure that your flywheel isn't concave, as some of the early F1 cars had that problem.

    But, um... am i the only one wondering if you got a 355 or a 360...? You never said and it seems like everyone else knows what it is; did i miss something...?

    I think in 99 they only made 360 coupes... So it must be a 355... So DISREGARD the concave flywheel bit. Enjoy it! Better than a 360IMO.

    Could it be his wife's car? I'm talking about Allan here...maybe he finally sold the F355! If that's the case, I'm happy for the F355, she deserves better! :)

    Hi club0...not that car even though it loooked great when I met Allan & his wife last year in Maui. Her's was a nice clean yellow 355 spider. Also liked Allan's souped up Diablo. Thanks for the post!
