Greetings: I'm new to this forum. I'm thinking of updating my 1996 Porsche Turbo and been wanting a Ferrari for a long time. Few questions for the experienced: 1. What is the best year/model for overal reliability/value/performance? I am thinking of a F355, would you agree or disagree with choice? 2. What are service issues I need to pay attention to when shopping for a F355? 3. I drive my collectible cars regularly to work if it's not bad weather. Is this car able to handle it in terms of reliability? 4. I am skeptical of the spider because of problems I read about the roof system. Is this valid? 5. I like the 1995 F355 listed on www.ecarlink.com. Any comments about this choice? Thanks much, Charles
i would be intrested in your porsche ???? if you wanted to sell i just got 95 355 spider yellow and black 6spd 12ks paid 83ks i love this thing ......
Look at www.the355.com & do a search here as the question is asked once a week or so it seems Here's the last two http://ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=107391 http://ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=108345
ecarlink seems to have pretty good prices on the cars they offer. I have not seen one in person, but keep them on your list of places to search. The 355 is beautiful and a bit more practical than the 348. Try sending a PM to Jim Pernikoff (Gatorrari), I think he lives near you and might know of a good car for sale. BT
I just picked up my 355 yesterday morning. What an unbelievable 24 hrs it has been. The car is a 95 with 19K miles on it. I bought it from a friend who has spent lots of $ on it. I had been looking for a 3X8 car to replace my Mondial. Looked at a few, nothing that took my breath away. I have known about this 355 through my friend, but never considered it. Always thought it was fabulous, but thought it was out of my reach. But he announced he wanted to sell and I worked it out. IF at all possible, buy one and enjoy it. But , put away a couple of $ for repairs/ maintenance. Good luck. David
I wecked my 911, which is why I'm back on the market. It was a stupid thing and I'm sorry it's not available for sale. How much are you asking for your F355? Are there any evoluationary differences of the 1994 through 1999 F355 models? Tell me more about your car if you're interested in selling. Thanks
