Today I had the pleasure for finally seeing a Contach in person. I got a chance to take some photos and hope to do more. Its an 85 owned by a F chatter.

This to me was the premier supercar when I was coming to automotive conscienceness in the 70's. Spectacular lines encompassing a 12 cylinder. How could you go wrong.

Thanks to the owner for sharing the car with the group and a message to all Lamborghini/exotic owners: Drive the hell out of them and take some time to share with us. Thanks in advanced!

Here is a quicky layout I did and a couple of the shots a little bigger.

    regards

    Ken

I've seen a white one around here 3 times, I assume it was real. But, it's amazing how extreme it is. They really stand out and are squat as hell, but man they're awesome!!!

I haven't seen a real one since 1989 when I lived in Massachusetts. I saw a red one and a black one then. I'm sure I'll be seeing them around again now that I'm out of Alaska. It's definitely one of the best-looking cars of all time.

These cars still look awesome today, especially without the American spec bumpers like this one.

Very sweet, it's black and a QV. The Countach is pulling me over to the dark side. I hear its calling.

Regards to the authentic item, I NEVER see these on the roads, I rarely if ever, see them in drives along with other Italian cars, it's as if the owners hide them. Diablo's are in all directions as far as the eye can see, a Countach???? the only time I see them at all, is in one lump sum, is on the greens of Concorsi Italiano. Even then, I never see them on the streets of Monterey.

That white car in your area used to be mine. A very low mile car, or it used to be low miles. Sounds like the current owner is enjoying it.

When I was a kid back in the mid 80's there was a grey market importer next door the Shop Rite my mom used to go to. His shop was always full of Countaches and Boxers. My eyes nearly popped out of my head the first time I saw the lineup outside the shop. Needless to say I was always willing to go to the grocery store for then on.... :D

Nothing gets the looks that a Countach gets.I used to repair original and replica cobras and those get lots o folks staring and pointing at you.I thought that was as bad as possible but a Countach gets more looks from folks than all others combined.you must learn to ignore people staring and pointing at you or you'll go crazy.its a cool car to drive.

it's really amazing how striking the Countach is after all these 30 long years isn't it?

and everytime a new person sees it for the first time, the magic is still there intact

    I Love Lambos .
