First Year With Mondial

Last week marked a year of ownership of my '84 cab. All in all, it's been a great experience. I'm still sorting things, and still have a few fairly big things to do. I need to re-upholster the front seats, and need a new top. Here in Texas, it's still top-down. I also want to replace all the hoses and will probably go engine-out for that.

She has only left me stranded once, and that was for a frozen-up water pump. After removing it and sending it off for overhaul, I re-installed it and all is good! I've sorted a lot of the little electrical gremlins, and mechanically she seems pretty good now.

I've put about 7500 miles on her this past year, and they've been glorious! The attention the car gets is just pheomenal, as all of you have experienced. The sheer experience of driving a car like our Mondi's is simply beyound description.

Would I do it again? YOU BET!. The summed wisdom of this group has been so helpful, and for this, I'm truly indebted.
